Genealogical Service
Westport Historical Society offers a genealogical research service for families who lived in Westport and the Clew Bay area of west Mayo.
Reports draw on census, property and vital (birth/baptism, marriage, death) records, and on certain sources unique to our collection: local school registers, estate rent rolls and cemetery records. We also have access to a wide network of local people with deep knowledge of the area and its people.

In order to ascertain whether we can provide you with a genealogical report, please fill out and submit the form below.
Once you submit your form, we will assess whether a genealogical report is feasible/possible. If it is, and you wish you wish to proceed, a fee of €30.00 will be charged for a Basic Search and €90.00 for a Full Report. We will ask you to make your payment by Paypal.
Please answer as many questions on the form as possible, and if you have further information not covered by the questions please add this. Do not be deterred if you cannot answer many questions.
